Emergency Relief for ACT families and individuals experiencing financial hardship or disadvantage

Assistance will be in the form of financial and material support to alleviate rising costs of living. The program will be provided with the assistance from the ACT Government.

PROVISION OF THIS PROGRAM will be through the local Community Services (listed below) and through St Vincent de Paul, the Salvation Army and Uniting Church Kippax.

ASSISTANCE may include but is not limited to: petrol vouchers, phone cards, essential household goods, grocery vouchers, pharmacy supplies, clothing, and assistance with educational supplies etc.

Support may also take the form of financial contributions towards cost of purchasing or installing water or energy efficient appliances in the home and retro fitting of homes to minimise utility costs.
